Job Details:
Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering
activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications,
of design circuitry, electro-mechanical systems, or specialized test
equipment. Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing
to collect data or assist in research work. May perform operational test
and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assignments are
semi-routine in nature. Work performed within generally defined
parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard
problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work
Candidate Profile:
Additional qualifications include:
-Experience in bringing up a hardware system and debugging/tracking of
the issues.
-High speed measurements experience (TDR/DCA/VNA )
-Skills in Computer/PC system assembly and trouble shooting,
Windows*/Linux* OS installations, BIOS configuration, Ghosting, and
upgrades
- Experience with Windows* and Linux* operating systems
- Lab management, excellent planning, organization and prioritization
skills are required to ensure deliverables are met
- Paying close attention to detail, having good verbal and written
communication skills and the ability to maintain a detailed engineering
notebook
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and direction a
must.
- Ability to anticipate the needs and proactively own, manage and
complete projects
- Excellent customer responsiveness and follow-through skills
- Experience in working with multiple site organizations with diverse
and cross-functional teams
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and organizational flair in
improving process and increasing efficiency with in the group
- Experience in Calibration of RF Equipment/devices would be an added
advantage
