This person will be primarily responsible for software development in an embedded systems environment mainly on the Power-PC processor. The engineer will be working on Embedded Test Code (Hardware Built in Test commonly known as 'HBIT'). This would involve coming up with test methodologies / algorithms and implementing device drivers for example Ethernet, PCI, Graphics, SDRAM, and FLASH etc. The main competency required is the candidate has a basic understanding of Hardware, good in C and assembly programming.

Candidate Profile:

Engineer with a some understanding of Hardware and good knowledge of Assembly & C. Should be a good team player and have good communication skills. Should have experience in developing boot software for microprocessors. Hands on using emulators and debuggers and hardware debugging skills. Embedded device driver development for peripheral devices.
