Job Details:

Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs'' advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements'' designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.

Candidate Profile:

You should possess a Master of Technology degree and/or a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science with minimum five years of experience in Windows* device driver debugging or development. Additional qualifications include: - Solid understanding of modern PC architecture - Good understanding of Windows* Operating System Internals, and windows* driver architecture - Excellent programming skills in C, C++ and scripting (such as Perl and Ruby). - Expertise in kernel level debugging using Windows* Dbg and other debugging tools - Experience in Graphics Hardware-Software interfacing and debug would be an added advantage - Strong analytical and debugging skills are preferred - Excellent communication skills - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage assigned tasks - Proven ability to work across functional groups and organizations
